Samantha Greene is a Vice President at Sena|Kozar Strategies. Sam has spent more than 13 years leading political communications campaigns across sectors, including on behalf of candidates, government officials, nonprofits, and the private sector. As a multi-racial woman, she brings a unique perspective to communications and messaging, advising organizations and candidates running at all levels.
Since joining the firm in 2020, she has worked around the country, telling people's stories, building advertising campaigns, and developing communications strategies to break through and win. Sam drives the firm's ballot measure work, as well as advises candidates, including U.S. Rep. Andrea Salinas. Her creative has been recognized with a 2021 Pollie Award for best ballot measure ad and a 2022 Pollie Award and Reed Award for best state legislative ad. Sam was also a recipient of the American Association of Political Consultants 2023 40 Under 40 Award.
Before joining Sena|Kozar, Sam served as senior communications advisor for U.S. Senator Michael Bennet, where she helped lead a multi-state presidential campaign operation, including earned and paid media, digital, and fundraising communications. In 2018, Sam managed U.S. Rep. Julia Brownley’s re-election as a Frontline candidate. She also served as Brownley’s communications director in the House of Representatives from 2017-2019. Sam previously led communications for ITIF, the leading U.S. tech policy think tank, and she began her career at The Fratelli Group, a public affairs firm.
A South Jersey native, Sam is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy. She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and daughter.
