Mollie Binotto is Vice President at Sena Kozar Strategies. Mollie joined the team at Sena Kozar following her hard won 2021 victory as Campaign Manager for the re-election of Governor Phil Murphy, making her the first woman to manage a successful gubernatorial campaign in New Jersey. Mollie remains an integral part of Governor Murphy’s political team serving as a national strategist for Governor Murphy’s efforts on behalf of New Jerseyans and the Democratic Party.
Mollie spent nearly fifteen years on and off the campaign trail and Capitol Hill. Throughout her career, Mollie has managed or advised electoral campaigns of all shapes and sizes at the state and federal levels, developing expertise in large-scale mobilization and turnout programs for US Senate and Presidential races. In the 2019-2020 cycle, she was the Western Director for Federal and Gubernatorial Campaigns at EMILY’s List. She advised, advocated, and recruited pro-choice democratic women for electoral office.
Some of Mollie’s most memorable election nights include the 2008 election of President Obama, the 2010 re-election of former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), the 2012 re-election of Senator Jon Tester (D-MT), the 2013 re-election of Mayor Dawn Zimmer of Hoboken, and the 2018 election of Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ-11), and the 2021 victory for Governor Phil Murphy.
Mollie’s work also extends to Capitol Hill, where she served as staff to U.S. Senator Jon Tester of Montana, working on legislative issues pertaining to energy, the environment, and agriculture.
Mollie is a graduate of Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland and when she is not on the campaign trail, she enjoys spending time with her partner Max and their rescue mutt Howie.
